Overview

The “Ready for Review” status means that an employment or education verification was successfully completed, but the results include some information that is slightly different from what the candidate provided. The status is also used for all completed Professional Reference Check results.

When is it used?

  1. Education Verification
    • Report discrepancies: If we are able to confirm a candidate attended a school/institution, but the dates of attendance, degree, or major differ from what the candidate provided.

  2. Employment Verification
    • Report discrepancies: If we are able to confirm a candidate worked for an employer, but the difference in dates of employment are over 3 months, or job title differs from what the candidate provided.
    • Skipped verifications: If a candidate skips an employer verification without entering any employer as part of the “employer verification by time period” product offering.

  3. Professional Reference Check
    • Reference Results: If we are able to successfully contact and receive a response from a candidate’s professional reference, the results will be marked as “Ready for Review.”

How do I review results?

When a report is returned as “Ready for Review”, you’ll see all of the information that was verified successfully in the “Information Verified” section, and any information that is potentially discrepant will be displayed within the “Information We Attempted to Verify” section.

If you are satisfied after reviewing the results, you can click “Mark as Acceptable”. The report status will update to “Reviewed”, and, if no other report sections are marked “Alert” or “Ready for Review,” the overall report status will update to “Clear.”
