My Profile FAQ

GoodHire users are able to update the following information on the My Profile page (Account > My Profile):

1. Basic Information
2. Sign-in and Security
3. Email Preferences
4. Other Settings

Basic Information

Use this section to update:

• First Name
• Last Name
• Phone (optional)
• Extension (optional)
• Email Address*
• Title
• Customer PIN*

*Current password is required when updating these fields.

Sign-in and Security

Use this section to Reset Password or turn on/off Multi-Factor Authentication.

Email Preferences

Use this section to turn on/off different email notifications from GoodHire.

For my orders, email me when

Report is complete: receive email notications when your candidate’s background check has completed processing and is ready to view

Part of a report is complete: receive email notifications when one or more sections of your candidate’s background check has finished processing, but the entire report is not yet completed

Candidate provides information and/or consent: receive email notifications when the candidate has provided information and/or consent to begin the processing of your candidate’s background check

Candidate information is missing: receive email notifications when information is missing from your candidate’s background check, preventing the check from processing

Report is complete: receive email notications when your candidate’s background check has completed processing and is ready to view — for orders placed by other users at your organization

Dashboard Results Per Page: set the default number of background check results to display on your hiring results dashboard — select 10, 25, or 50
