Federal Bankruptcy Search

Overview

The Federal Bankruptcy Search scans across the 94 U.S. federal courts for bankruptcy filings adjudicated in federal bankruptcy court. It will find all chapter types of bankruptcy, including chapter 7, chapter 11, and chapter 13 bankruptcies.

The search will go back a maximum of 10 years. No results will be returned beyond the 10 year timeframe.

The Federal Bankruptcy Search can be added on to any of GoodHire’s available background check packages.

Reviewing Results

The Federal Bankruptcy Search will return clear if there are no records found.

Alerts:

If there are any records that match the candidate’s name and date of birth, they will be displayed in the results tab of the Federal Bankruptcy Search. Each record displays the court name, disposition, bankruptcy chapter, and other related details.

Turnaround time is 1 to 3 business days.
