Can I download my candidate’s CCF through GoodHire?
Yes. Employers can now download Drug test CCFs for individual candidates on the dashboard. Simply click “Drug Forms”, which will open a new browser tab that contains the CCF.
The candidate did not receive a CCF, how do I send another one?
You can download the candidate’s CCF on the dashboard and send it to them directly.
As an employer, do I need to collect the CCF before my candidate makes a donation?
No. Your candidate just needs to bring in a copy of the CCF to the testing site when they provide a specimen.
Can I be sent the same reminder emails that my candidate is receiving?
If your candidate does not provide a specimen within the first 7 days, you will be sent an email indicating their drug test has not been completed.
Who will be billed for the drug test?
The employer that orders the test will pay for it.
Can I buy a drug test as a stand-alone check?
No. You can only buy a drug test if you have screened your candidate using a background check offered by GoodHire.
Which labs do you get your tests from?
All GoodHire drug tests are conducted in collaboration with Quest Diagnostics, LabCorp, and Abbott Labs. Both labs use the same drug testing process, so you should not worry about any differences in testing outcomes.
How accurate are drug tests?
Tests are very accurate but not 100% accurate. Usually specimens are divided so that if an initial test is positive a confirmation test can be conducted.
Will a candidate test positive for drugs if he or she is around someone who is using drugs, or if they eat foods containing poppy seeds?
No.
Besides urine, do you test other specimens such as hair, blood, or saliva?
At this point in time, we do not offer other forms of testing.
Who interprets and confirms the test results?
Every test result, regardless of whether it is positive or negative, is interpreted and confirmed by a Medical Review Officer (MRO). MROs are highly-trained medical specialists that read and confirm results. Every candidate who has a positive lab result is granted the opportunity to speak with an MRO before a report is made to the company.
Do I administer the drug test myself?
No. Your candidate will need to go to the selected test site, where the test will be administered by authorized medical professionals.
Why are initial levels and confirmatory cut-off levels different for some drugs?
Initial and confirmatory tests are performed using different testing methodologies that result in different cut-off levels.
What happens if a candidate tampers with the specimen?
If it is known that the candidate has tampered with the urine specimen in any way, it will be reported as such, and will read as a Refusal to Test on a GoodHire report.
Will the candidate see the results before I do?
Your candidate will receive an email with the completed background report at the same time that you do.
