You have several options:
- Reach out to the organization that ordered the background check. They are responsible for making decisions based on your background check results, not GoodHire.
- Add more information about the alert to your background check. We call them “Comments for Context” and they’re meant to provide more details and additional context about the alert to the organization that ordered your background check.
- File a dispute if the alert is inaccurate. We will reinvestigate the information you dispute, and, if the information you dispute cannot be confirmed to be accurate, we will update your background check results and send an updated copy of your background check to you and the organization.
How to Contact the Organization
If you already have contact information for a recruiter, hiring manager, or other person at the organization that ordered your background check, reach out to them directly. If you don’t, you can use the organization’s contact info that’s included at the bottom of the email you received from GoodHire.
