Why are there different names showing on my SSN Trace?

Different names will typically show on your SSN Trace if you made a typo when inputting your Social Security number (SSN).

If you didn’t make a typo in your SSN, different people’s names can still show if a past lender made an error with your name or if you had a co-signer.

If none of these reasons apply, it’s possible your credit file is incorrect. We recommend you contact the three major credit bureaus to correct the information.
