Overview
The Global Watch List Search scans through international terrorist watch lists, including the INTERPOL Most Wanted list and the European Union terrorism list.
For a full list of all sources searched by the Global Watch List Search, please refer to our Global Watch List Search Coverage document.
Ordering
The Global Watch List Search can be ordered as an add-on to any of GoodHire’s existing background check packages.
Reviewing Results
If no record is found, the Global Watch List Search will simply return clear.
Alerts:
If there are any records that match the candidate’s name and date of birth, they will be displayed in the results tab of the Global Watch List Search. Each record displays the record source and offender details (including alias names), as well as any associated addresses.
Clicking “Show More Details” at the bottom of each record will expand the record to display the offenses attached, with each offense record containing substantial context as to why the candidate has been placed on a global watch list.
Turnaround Times
Turnaround time for the Global Watch List Search is typically 1 to 3 business days.
Notes
The Global Watch List Search will not show crimes that went to trial in other countries. For international crimes, Employers will need to run an International Criminal Records Search.
