How do I check the status of my background check?

After your information is provided, you’ll receive an email from GoodHire letting you know your check is processing. To see the status, click on the “VIEW BACKGROUND CHECK STATUS” button in your email and then log in using your information.

Once you’re logged in, the status update section on the OVERVIEW tab of your check will display the estimated completion date of your background check.

You can also click on the “Consumer Report” tab to see which screens are complete and which are still processing.
